Yesterday, I took Julian to Cooperstown to the National Baseball Hall of Fame. We had a great time. We had visited the Hall three years ago and he enjoyed it then, but did not have the interest or patience he has now. At this stage of the game he has developed an interest in and a love of the history of the game of baseball. It was such a pleasure to walk through the galleries with him and having wonderful conversations about players, teams, records, etc. It was truly a special experience. After wandering around the galleries we ventured over to Doubleday Field to watch some American Legion baseball. After the game, we returned to the Plaque Gallery to read some more of the Hall of Fame Plaques ( Here, Julian is studying the plaques of the inaugural class.
